New Managing Director Announcement for SURA Professional Risks

Sally will take over from founding partner, Paul Robinson, who will remain an active Director within the business.  Paul originally formed the business in  2012 as Mint Plus and in 2014 joined AUB Group and rebranded to SURA Professional Risks.

Sally joined SPR in 2017 as a Senior Underwriter and was quickly promoted to the role of National Underwriting Manager.  Shortly after Sally was appointed Director of SPR in 2018.

Before joining SPR, Sally worked in the London market for over 20 years for a number of independent Lloyd’s  brokers and placed a variety of PI risks,  including Financial Planners, Accountants, Engineers, Architects, Surveyors, private hospitals and nursing homes and miscellaneous risks in Lloyd’s and the London markets.

Sally moved to Sydney, Australia in 2004 and worked for various large International Brokers as  Client Manager within their  Professional Risks area and has been responsible for negotiating, placing and servicing Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers liability Insurance policies, including Crime Insurance, EPL, Trustee and Statutory Liability Insurance for a number of Australian top 100 ASX Companies.

SURA Professional Risks are a specialist underwriting agency with a team of 7 underwriters in Sydney and 2 in Melbourne and are authorised to write Professional Indemnity insurance for 2 Lloyd’s syndicates and for Guild Insurance and will continue to focus on SME business in its particular insurance products and industry sectors.
