The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) is the leading membership, education, training and professional development organisation for the insurance and finance industry in the Asia-Pacific region. ANZIIF’s Corporate Supporter program was established in 2006 to create opportunities for ANZIIF and enterprises to work together on industry-relevant, not-for-profit projects.


The Council of Queensland Brokers (CQIB) represents over 60 Queensland firms employing nearly 400 staff and placing in excess of $500,000,000 in annual premiums. The CQIB charter is to maintain the level of professionalism of its members by the sharing of knowledge, information and ideas.


The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) is Australia’s peak body of the insurance broking profession. NIBA administers the Insurance Brokers Code of Practice, which all members must adhere to. The Code sets out the minimum service standards customers can expect when they engage in the services of an insurance broker.


The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) serves its members’ interests through professional development events; broker expos to showcase members’ specialist products; sector-specific marketing campaigns; and advocacy with government and industry bodies. UAC has more than 100 agency members, supported by about 60 business service members.
