SURA Market Day 2025 – Adelaide

On Wednesday February 5th, we held our highly anticipated Market Day in the heart of Adelaide at EOS by SkyCity. The event attracted over 120 Adelaide-based brokers, all looking to connect with our agencies, making for a wonderful networking opportunity.

Designed to foster connections, the event was structured as an interactive expo where brokers had the chance to engage with our Agency Managers and Senior Underwriters. This format encouraged open conversations about products, underwriting approaches, and emerging trends in the insurance market. Brokers took advantage of this opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of SURA’s offerings while expanding their professional networks.

One of the day’s most memorable moments was the keynote presentation by Gavin Wanganeen, a celebrated AFL legend who made history as the first Indigenous player to win a Brownlow Medal. Wanganeen shared personal insights about his upbringing, highlights of his AFL career, and success beyond sport. There were some interesting questions posed in the Q&A, which left a lasting impression on the audience.

With a compelling guest speaker, and a room full of stimulating conversation, the SURA Market Day was a great success.
